Our story

We rose together. We carry together.

Masiphekisane Mama means "let's cook together". The name says everything about what we do. When a sister loses someone she loves, every one of us lifts a pot, a hand, a prayer — so the weight is never hers alone.

A circle of women that closes around you when the world falls apart.

What we believe

Three vows we keep.

01

Dignity above all

Every funeral we touch is one a family can feel proud of — from the first cup of tea to the last plate served.

02

No sister stands alone

We answer messages. We show up. We pool what we have so the weakest moment becomes the strongest day.

03

Faith, not formality

We are a movement before we are a policy. The paperwork serves the people, not the other way around.
